Special Guests

What would a show be without special guests?  When it comes to D&D and 4th edition nobody will bring you better than D&D Experience 2010.  We are proud to bring you a few favorites from last year as well as a couple of new faces to bounce your never ending questions off of.

Chris Tulach - Wizards of the Coast - D&D Organized Play Content Developer - Originally thought to have been raised from a humble Midwestern family, Chris Tulach actually fell to Earth in a meteorite-shaped capsule flung from a planet far outside our galaxy. While under the yellow rays of Sol, Chris’s nerdity far surpasses that of any normal human. Using this precious gift only for good, he has become the RPGA Content Designer, responsible for the development and deployment of Dungeons & Dragons organized play programs.

Bart Carroll - Wizards of the Coast - D&D Insider - Bart is most frequently found underground, although he infrequently will lair in desolate wildernesses. The globular body of the author is supported by levitation, and he floats slowly about as he wills. Atop the sphere are 10 eyestalks, while in his central area are a great eleventh eye and a large mouth filled with pointed teeth. His body is protected by a hard chitinous covering. The author's eyestalks and eyes are also protected, although less well. Because of his particular nature, Bart is able to withstand the loss of his eyestalks which will eventually grow back (1 week per lost member).

Trevor Kidd - Wizards of the Coast - Wizards Community Lead -

Chris Champagne - Wizards of the Coast - D&D Digital Studio Director - Chris Champagne has been playing D&D since the 1970’s, recently leaving the casino gaming industry for the bright lights and festive costumes of hobby gaming.  He leads the digital studio for D&D Insider, shepherding the development of great applications like the Character Builder, Monster Builder and the Compendium.  Born and raised in sunny Nevada , he’s lived all over the country, often explaining “While my resume might read like a rap sheet, not all those who wander are lost!”

Richard Baker - Wizards of the Coast - - Richard Baker is the New York Times bestelling author of Swordmage, the Last Mythal trilogy, and Condemnation. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech. He served as a deck officer on board the USS Tortuga and qualified as a surface warfare officer before becoming a game designer in 1991. Rich has designed, written, or contributed to over 70 game products during his career, including Dungeons & Dragons (3rd and 4th Edition), Alternity, Axis & Allies Miniatures, Axis & Allies Naval Miniatures: War at Sea, and numerous Dungeons & Dragons adventures and sourcebooks. In 1995 he won an Origins award for Best New Role-Playing Supplement for the Birthright game setting.

Richard is also one of the masterminds behind the new Dark Sun setting coming out in the summer of 2010. He will be bringing all kinds of sneak peaks with him to the show so be ready with your questions.

Mike Mearls - Wizards of the Coast - Mike Mearls is the Lead Developer for the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game. His recent credits include H1: Keep on the Shadowfell and Player's Handbook II (v.3.5).
